Hedrick Homes - Showcase of Winery Work

Total remodel of the Cellar at Debonne – floor had to be lowered to accommodate new tanks, so all of the original concrete had to be broken up and removed. Ceiling had to waterproofed, new block walls and drainage had to be installed. Tony Debevc had recently visited some wineries in Europe where an arched wood entry door was common, and had some pictures of his ideas for such a door to be constructed in the new cellar. Tate & Laramie built it in one piece, then cut it into 3 sections for removal and installation. Neighbor John Svoboda of Chardon Welding handled all the stainless work, and with a little tweaking got the massive door to fit! Take a cellar tour next time you’re at the winery and check it out.
